Sjofar
An extraordinary example. A horn of a ram, it must have been a huge beast. I hope it died a natural death. The instrument sounds beautiful. I found it in a museum in Groesbeek. A sjofar is a traditional jewish instrument, played on Jom Kipoer, the jewish new year, to clear the conscience, get rid of all sins, and give the new year a good start.
